Cocoa Powder Cookies

Features:
    Cuisine:

I have a batch in the oven right now and they are amazing. I accidentally added too much salt but to me they taste amazing. I also lessened the sugar some and added some malted milk powder. They taste like a salted dark chocolate malt in cookie form. Next time I make them I will not add so much salt but really taste wise it was not a total screw up. Made again, nearly five years later, this time used my cookie scoop. It made seven rather large cookies and they were still done at only eight minutes. This time unlike last I did not add malted milk powder. I did add a little extra salt and instant espresso powder. Unlike previous times used Hershey's cocoa powder and to me they had less depth of cocoa flavor compared to using the cocoa powder from the store Sprouts.
