Coconut – Lime Squares,These are great-tasting.,Does it really need a whole cup of sugar?,As the description says, these are great tasting! Actually they’re awesome. I made them gluten free using cornflour and cornstarch for the crust and rice flour and cornstarch for the custard. Worked like a spell. There don’t seem to be sweetened coconut flakes available in Germany, at least I’ve never seen them, so used unsweetened, and it was still plenty sweet. Love the lime flavour. used 2 8×4 inch pans and layered them with nonstick paper so I could easily lift the bars out of the pans. Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe!
