Tropical Coconut Bread, Having a Luau party? Then this is a must but, you’ll want to make this throughout the year. The smell alone will get your significant other to release their grip on the remote, the kids will drift out of their bedrooms and the neighbors might come knocking. I dare to say, this might even be an aphrodisiac! It’s great alone but if you’re adventurous, slice some strawberries on it or drizzle chocolate syrup over it and top it with some whipped cream., I agree with the reviewer who described this as coconut cake. This has nothing to do with the fact that yeast was not used. This crumb is light, not dense like a quick bread should be. This is probably because the recipe calls for 4 eggs and combo of baking soda AND baking powder. The cake, NOT bread was tasty a little too sweet for my taste but I was disappointed in the texture. I’ll go back to my coconut BREAD recipe and use this when my family wants coconut CAKE., How can I print the recipe without the nutrition printing in middle of the page?
