Coke Cake- Cracker Barrel Style

Features:
    Cuisine:

Perfection in a pan, made exactly as described. The baked cake is thick, moist and so delicious! It's not quite as thick as pound cake, but close. However, the batter is rather thin. I'd describe it as pancake consistency. I made this for kids and the only complaint was wanting MORE marshmallow fluff, which I may have skimped upon a little. It's so hard to spread, but it really adds a different flavor and texture that I appreciate. Would I omit marshmallow fluff all together like other reviewers? I think I'd rather incorporate the fluff into a single layer of frosting, where I add it just prior to removing from heat and adding vanilla. Then, pour over cake. I baked for 35 minutes to perfection and it included a large and small crack, which made me do a toothpick check to ensure it was clean on removal; though this is rather normal for my oven. I don't know what CB's tastes like, but I can't imagine better.

Coke Cake-Cracker Barrel Style, I’ve tried many recipes for coco-cola cakes and just couldn’t find one like Cracker Barrel’s. I finally just adapted a recipe into this cake. My husband requests this for his birthday cake every year. My MIL says it’s even better than Cracker Barrel! Imagine that, a compliment from the MIL! This cake is amazing warm served with vanilla ice cream but I’m told it’s even better the next day., Perfection in a pan, made exactly as described. The baked cake is thick, moist and so delicious!
