Cola Pancakes, I have not tried this yet–maybe someone with a sense of adventure will give it a try , added more coke , Did not work for me at all Once the liquids were added the batter was too thin The sugar content of the the soda caused the pancakes too burn, and they did not cook through thoroughly I had lowered the heat in an attempt to prevent burnt pancakes, but the batter that cooked became like plastic and were unable to be cut by a knife The idea was good but i recommend using soda that has become flat as the carbonation will curdle and dairy that touches it and will cause the batter to foam up, as well as us 1 cup flour and 1 cup bisquik And only 8 oz of soda to prevent a super thin batter, the consistency of pancake batter should be that of a good gravy, thinner would be good for crepes This recipe as is would be good for funnel cakes and batter for other deep frying needs, but it didn’t work for pancakes
