Corn Chowder (Crock Pot),from the Rival Crock-Pot Cooking Cookbook.,Sounds like soup to me?? Chowder is traditionally made with cream or milk – not water,This soup is delicious when you add a large can of diced tomatoes with the chicken broth and skip the cream corn and milk or cream. My mother always made it for us for lunch when we walked home from school for lunch. Then we would walk back to school for the afternoon. The warmth, taste and aroma fortified us for the walk in the winter snows of Vermont.
