Hope this helps avoid any confusion. *** I absolutely adore the pancakes served at Cracker Barrel, especially their pecan pancakes. This recipe comes from the Cracker Barrel Cookbook. In my experience, you need to make sure that your cooking surface is well greased or you get leathery pancakes.,This was the most disappointing pancake recipe I have ever made! Where do I start? So they tasted nothing like Cracker Barrel-it was more like an overly salty piece of cornbread. Waaaaay too much baking soda/salt and not enough sugar. I have noooo idea how this got good reviews. And I followed the recipe to a tea. Thanks for nothing. This was trash and a waste of ingredients I could have used for something delicious.,Best pancakes I’ve ever tasted.
