Cracker Breaded Deep-Fried Shrimp, Make certain to crush the crackers to an smaller coarse texture do not crush to a fine texture Leave the tails on the shrimp intact for this If you are using the unsalted crackers, then adjust the seasoned salt to taste This shrimp is better than any served at a fancy restaurant!, Kittencal, this rocks! used Old Bay instead of seasoning salt This is much better than store-bought breading mix Thanks for sharing!, Kitten such a treat! I don’t have a photo as when they came out, put em’ on a plate, and were gone All I can hear from the *peanut gallery* is Ummm, ummm, umm, um, um This was great to put together, as used Townhouse crackers, crushed small, but not super fine Made my own buttermilk (from skim/a bit of vinegar) and all the ingredients were terrific used 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and just turned them over once, (about 1 minute per side) and then stood em’ on their mid section and finished up in a couple of minutes Drained on papertowels served with some hoppin’ cocktail sauce Perfection! Thank you, Kit! Made January 2009
