Crackled Sugar Cookies,This is by far the prettiest, easiest (no rolling) and best tasting sugar cookie I have ever made. They look like they came right out of the bakery. Try them– then stand back and wait for the oohs and ahs!!!!,Can the dough be frozen ahead of time I make these at Christmas and I put a tablespoon of dough in red or green sugar dyed with food color. Sprinkles. Roll around it the sugar then on to cookie sheet. Then bake. They are wonderful,Excellent recipe! Soft and chewy in the center and crispy, crunchy around the edges…..best ever!

Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees. |

Lightly Grease Two Baking Sheets. |

Cream Sugar and Butter Together Until Light. |
