Crazy Good Cowboy Coffee Cake,Quick and easy recipe. Great flavor. Comes from United Methodist Cookbook, Gowrie, Iowa. Submitted by Sharon Jones.,I’ve searched hi and low for this coffee cake. When I was much younger, used to visit my city’s college cafeteria everyday like clockwork…they made a coffeecake just like this one! I kid you not! That coffeecake helped boost my attendance record. It’s the same exact cake & now I can make it anytime I want. Thanks for sharing. (I really don’t need to change a thing, but I would like to try using the buttermilk idea next time, that some have mentioned here. Maybe make it even richer in flavor?),I printed the Cowboy Cake recipe by Steve P. My question is what high altitude changes would you recommend since I live in Lafayette, CO?
