Cream Cheese Almond Coffee Cake,An adopted recipe, I have made this ahead when having company over for and easy breakfast. Original Intro: A great moist coffee cake.,I made a half recipe of this but it is delicious. I only had a couple of tablespoons of cream cheese so I substituted the rest with sour cream. Left out the dried fruit and kept the topping the same as a whole recipe. Poured half the batter in and sprinkled half the topping on top then poured the rest of the batter and topped with the rest of the topping. used an 8 cake pan and it was done around 25 minutes. I decided to drizzle a powdered sugar glaze flavored with more almond extract on the top because I really like the flavor. Awesome coffee cake. Would definitely recommend.,Its says add dried cherries but doesn’t say chopped or whole?
