Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast W/Strawberries and Whip Cream,We love Ihops stuffed french toast so much we decided to try to come up with one ourselves. This is really delicious.,Made this for Easter morning breakfast. I did tweak it a bit, adding milk to the eggs to dip the bread like I usually do when I make French toast and left out the sugar and vanilla with the eggs. I also only use one egg for each three pieces of French toast. I would have left out the butter in the cream cheese and will do that when I make it again. I also added a bit of milk to help make the cream cheese more spreadable. My loaf of Pepperidge Farm Cinna-swirl bread had 12 slices including the two heels. So I made six which were way too many for the two of us. We stuffed ourselves as much as we could and then threw the rest away. Next time I wlll just make one for each of us. I didn’t use whipped cream because that would have been far too much for the two of us. Maybe if I just make one for each of us. The thawed frozen strawberries (in syrup) really made this, though.
