Specialty Soup Substitutes – Cream,I was tired of paying over a dollar for Campbell’s soups when a friend gave me this recipe. It doesn’t take much extra work, and it’s so much healthier! It’s been months since I bought a can of cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, cream of celery, cheddar cheese, or tomato soup… helping my budget and my health at the same time. :),1. Are the recipes written to be equivalent to CONDENSED version of these soups or are these the soup verisons? Should the liquid be left out to be equivalent to condensed versions. 2. If the liquid is left out (specifically the dairy) can these soups be canned using a pressure canner and glass jars?,For the Mushroom soup, it just says 1 tbsp onion. Is that onion powder, fresh onion or minced onion?
