    Creamy Sweet Peas,As a child we had this at Beach Road Chicken House. My Sister figured this out. So we have had it in the family for years. It is good and also creamy.,My mom always made this as a side for salmon loaf in the 50’s when I was growing up. The best comfort food a kid could ever have…thanks…need to do this one. Great memories.,I’ve enjoyed this since I was a child also, and I’m 71. I’ve always used some milk as there is not a full cup of (pea) juice in the can. Try adding a couple of TB of Cream Cheese. mmm Served simply on toast.

    Melt Butter in Saucepan Over Low Heat.

    Blend in Flour,Salt,Pepper.

    Cook Over Low Heat,Stirring Until Mixture Is Smooth and Bubby.

    Heat to Boiling Stirring Constantly, Lower Heat and Add Peas.
