Tia Maria Sour Cream Dip for Fruit,I first tried this years ago when a friend passed on the recipe. I whipped the ingredients together until thick and loved the result but later found my friend just stirred hers so her dip was quite liquidy. I actually prefer it whipped but either way guests enjoy it. I have also used Godiva or Mozart Liqueur (chocolate) depending on what I have available. I made this yesterday with Mozart Liqueur for JanS – she requested I submit the recipe.,Great flavour! used 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 5 of Tia Maria. It was wonderful as a dip (although it did need quite a long time in the fridge to thicken). There was some left over so I folded it through some sliced banana for dessert today. I think it would be great with strawberries on a pavlova too, or maybe folded through some canned pineapple pieces with chopped crystallised ginger! So many possibilities. :-),Glen, this is a great recipe. I made it with Tia Maria to serve with a Christmas fruit platter. I took your advise and whipped until thick and I think I’d do it again this way as I can’t really imagine it as a thin dip. Fresh cherries are amazing dipped in this. Thanks for posting a quick and easy recipe that has been voted a family favourite 🙂
