Crescent Crust Sausage Brunch Casserole, I guarantee you are going to *love* this! This makes a perfect brunch or weeknight dinner, to save time brown the sausage a day ahead. To increase to a 13×9-inch casserole you will need 1-1/2 packages of crescent rolls and all other ingredients will need to be increased slightly, I have even made this without the crescent roll crust!, I bake it for about 45 min with foil on just the crust., I’m usually a huge Kittencal fan, but this one didn’t do it for me. We made it for Mother’s Day, but the crescent rolls, cheese, and sausage all together just made it too heavy for our tastes. I still give it three stars because, as usual, the recipe came together perfectly, but I would play with it by replacing some of the sausage & cheese with some veggies & maybe replacing the crescent roll dough with stale bread.
