Crescent Roll Dough (Bread Machine), We live where cans of crescent roll dough are not available I searched the ‘net for something I could use as a substitute While I don’t claim these are EXACTLY like the canned ones, they’re close enough for us This came from Allrecipes com (called Blue Ribbon Overnight Rolls) I’ve always made the dough using a bread machine, so I can’t give any feedback making it without the machine The dough is very easy to work with EDIT: I just realized this is very similiar to Recipe #136121 , but these ingredients are slightly different and provide bread machine instructions , I have a very old welbilt abm600 my grandma has had since I was a kid, she finally gave it to me a couple years ago and use it at least once a week for calzone dough or bread dough mainly I sometimes bake the bread in it but fhe cylindrical loaves aren’t always oractixal Anyway use this recipe for rolls and loaves as well its the perfect measurement for two one pound loaves I find this recipe hard to mess up I have tried other recipes but this one is my go to My machine is a 1 pound bread maker but it mixes this dough up perfectly, I do end up having to throw an additional handful or so of bread flour in on top of it to make the dough less sticky when I plan to pull it out and make loaves with ir but that’s no big deal If you haven’t tried this recioe, do it you won’t be disappointed my kids demolish every thing I make with this dough This is also a gokd dough mix for garbage bread , I’ve made these rolls for years , I know there’s other websites that offer a lot more reviews ~ but I feel that’s out of popularity not just product ( even tho many are delish recipes as well ; ) these rolls always turn out wonderful for me So light a fluffy with just the right amount of butter taste , without hardly any effort I also buy Nutella and spoon it over dough before I roll and rise , when they come out of oven I dust powdered sugar over them & they tastes like Starbucks chocolate rolls my husband loves It’s a perfect recipe !
