Tonkatsu (Japanese Pork Cutlet),This is my absolute favorite Japanese food. (What’s not to like? It’s fried!) I was introduced to this by Japanese exchange students I was hosting. The tonkatsu sauce is purchased at most grocery stores in the Asian foods section. Serve on a bed of shredded cabbage, for presentation. Serve with TONKATSU Sauce (the database won’t let me add this as an ingredient).,I combined your miso broth with the tonkatsu for a rif on a noodle bowl that my daughter and I had at a noodle restaurant in Durham, NH. We loved it! And we love all your recipes!,Very quick and easy main dish!! I made one serving for my lunch today and made the Tonkatsu Sauce to serve with it. Next time I will add some salt, pepper and maybe garlic powder to the flour mixture for some added flavor to the pork itself. Served it with an Asian Slaw with Ponzu Dressing. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Culinary Quest 2015.
