Tavern Beer Battered Fish, This recipe is from a local tavern that is well known for their beer battered fish. This recipe makes a thick, fluffy batter that even non-fish eaters like myself will like., I wanted to love this batter, but it was so thick, it was like thick paste. I could barely batter my cod and onion rings. As is, I can only give the recipe 3 stars. I will try it again and leave out the cornstarch next time, Perfection, made the texture of my fish creamy. Will use often, tonight on onion rings….
