    Crock Pot Beef Stew, A very simple, yet hearty beef stew. It always receives raves!, 10-12 hours on low is WAY TOO LONG!!! The sauce is practically dried up and the sides are burnt. Perhaps 7-8 hours on low…., I am 71 and have been making beef stew for a long time. I made your recipe yesterday and did not change one thing. It is absolutely the best beef stew I have ever eaten!
