Crock Pot – Best Chuck Roast,DELICIOUS mainstay on our menu! It makes the BEST GRAVY!!! We have this for dinner quite frequently….good and easy to prepare! All the veggies go in and cook along with the roast. Rice is always served and the roast and veggies are placed on top. UMMMmm!,Flavor great…timing not so much! Seared 2lb chuck roast & added to potatoes, carrots, celery, onion & added cr of mushroom soup mix. Clearly needed more cook time…maybe 2 hr on high & 6 hr on low.??? Meat not tender Per recipe guidelines,Can I cook this on high for 2 hours and then turn it to low? It’s already cooking, but I don’t want to be up all night! Tomorrow’s dinner!

Cut Vegetables and Place in Crock in the Following Order: Carrots, Celery, Onion and Potatoes. Sprinkle With Salt. |
