    I've been making a version of this meal for decades. I found it in a Taste of Home magazine. That recipe did not call for such a long cooking time and by the sounds of other reviews I would use caution as many have found that to be twice as long as necessary. I put mine together in the morning: roast on the bottom, Italian dressing sprinkled over it and a jar of sliced pepperocinis with juice poured over it all. It has always been done perfectly for dinner.

    Crock Pot Italian Beef,I start this after dinner the night before and forget it so much that when I get up in the morning I wonder what smell so good! I usually do a quick stir about 12-13 hours into it just so anything thats not in the juice gets mixed. Serve it with Mozzarella cheese on crispy rolls for a really good sandwich thats easy.,I’ve been making a version of this meal for decades. I found it in a Taste of Home magazine.
