Using the crock pot for this is a great idea. used the crisp x cereals I like best and used peanuts. The first batch started to burn. The second time around I cooked it on high for 1 hour then low for 2 hours and it was perfect for me.

Crock Pot Party Mix 3, There are 2 recipes already posted for party mix that use the crock pot This is different and the one that I made many years ago, lost the recipe and finally found it again in all places a cookbook that I have had for ever–Best Loved Slow Cooker Recipes Great for snacking or holiday gift giving , Using the crock pot for this is a great idea used the crisp x cereals I like best and used peanuts The first batch started to burn The second time around I cooked it on high for 1 hour then low for 2 hours and it was perfect for me , Finally, a party mix I can make without burning it! The ovenbaked mixes always seem a bit difficult to stir without flinging it all over the kitchen, the floor, et cetera LOL (use a liner bag for slow cookers when I make this party mix and so clean-up is a breeze and removing the mix from the cooker is a cinch ) 🙂 Thank you for this easy version of party mix! This is going to get packed in small, new trash buckets and mailed to the college students I know and love!
