Crock Pot ” Smashed” Peaches,Easy and tasty dessert that doesn’t heat up the kitchen, but smells heavenly! Very cobbler-like.,I really wanted to like this recipe as I am trying to find uses for my crockpot. This tasted fine but its consistancy is more like a flan or bread pudding which did not go over well with me or my family. If you don’t mind the mushiness of this i say go for it! Otherwise, we will not try this again.,Boy did this make the house smell great while I was holding an open house. I did add about 1 cup of frozen blueberries and it was a great addition. The texture is much more like a bread pudding than a cobbler to me, but very goos nonetheless. I did cut back the cinnamon to a 1/2 teaspoon per the other reviewers and was pleased with the choice. I will make this again….maybe I’ll try adding some frozen rasberries next time instead of the blueberries. A light dollop of whipped cream is all this needs.
