Original recipe calls for only four slices of bacon, but I — being a little piggy — love the bacon, so we always use more like 8 to 12 slices. You decide which you prefer.,Can use an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker for this recipe?,Good, but a whole onion is a no. The onion that the recipe called for is to much. Soup was very onion forward. I would say to only do a 1/4 of an onion.
