Crock Pot Turkey, Bean & Bacon Dip

Features:
    Cuisine:

This was really good but it's more of a baked bean side dish than a dip. Very good, either way you eat it.

Crock Pot Turkey, Bean & Bacon Dip, This makes a wonderfully easy appetizer that is great to serve with tortilla chips, hearty crackers, breadsticks or whatever you like! The bacon can be easily cooked in a microwave oven before adding to the crock pot I usually just place the bacon strips without overlapping on a paper towel on a plate I usually cook it for 1 minute per slice but it depends on your microwave and the thickness of the bacon It’s easier to cool the bacon before crumbling it so you don’t burn yourself The jalapeno is optional depending on if you like it spicy used a 5-quart crock pot for this recipe Enjoy!, This was really good but it’s more of a baked bean side dish than a dip Very good, either way you eat it , Freaking amazing! As we discussed before, I made this as a soup/stew instead of a dip Major hit here! used maple baked beans and regular diced tomatoes I didn’t have celery, hot sauce or a jalapeno, but used about 1 tsp of chili powder instead I added a red pepper to the green to add some more color Very yummy and very filling! Can’t wait to make it again!
