Directions
Dark Chocolate Ice Cream,A dark creamy chocolate ice cream. Prep time does not include chilling/freezing time.,used an immersion blender to mix and then propped it on the side of the bowl while I plugged in my ice cream machine. The next thing I knew was the blender flipped the bowl over and my kitchen and myself were covered with chocolate liquid. Don’t do what I did! I was able to salvage some of the mixture, churned it, and it turned out fantastic. The bonus, I guess, is that I had to run a laundry, wash my kitchen floor, counters, and cabinets and used up enough calories to enjoy the ice cream. Oh, I did tweak it somewhat by using bittersweet chocolate and 1/3 of the sugar. Delicious!,My grandsons are going to love it!

Melt Chocolate in Double Boiler Over Hot (not Boiling) Water. |
