Dehydrator Peanut Butter Bites, This recipe is from the Nesco dehydrator website , Tasted like peanut butter play dough There is no sweetener, so I added date sugar My husband who is not picky said, this needs something sweet in it I think it was a waste of my time and food , I was a little disappointed by this recipe The end result was bland, and as the previous reviewer said, it took a lot more peanut butter to get them to stick together than the recipe calls for used a whole pint The chunks of dried apple give them a chewy texture, but it was tiring cutting the dried apple rings used It would be better to use apple pieces that were more finely chopped before drying One reason I made this is because I love coconut, but the peanut butter overwhelmed it One person in my family likes them, but not enough to convince me to make them again
