Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce,This time of year I crave a taste of spring. This is quick and easy! I love it plain, over ice cream, poundcake, or pancakes.,This is so good you could eat it as is. Can’t wait to have over short cake, oatmeal, ice cream etc. I did as suggested by a reviewer and used fresh squeezed OJ instead of water. used Swerve sugar replacement-no calorie, (glad of this as I could eat the whole thing!) Also saw recipe for sauce from BrendaM, that added cinnamon and had ratio of 2.5 cups rhubarb to 1 cup strawberries and I did that. I also added 1/2 tsp.vanilla extract as I love adding those to most anything. Going to get more strawberries and make more. The sugar amount was plenty and 1/4 cup plenty of liquid. Firms as sits.,2.5 cup rhubarb to 1 cup strawberry, 1/4 teaspoon plus of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice instead of water. Loved it. Thank you
