I thought this was a fab use of contest ingredients & loved many parts of the recipe. I made 4 burgers instead of the small sliders, but stayed with the ingredients listed. we really liked the combination of the hawaiian bread, the burgers, & the onions. The burgers were moist & well seasoned & the onions stellar. Less successful was the sauce. It was very thick and although we liked the sweet/hot combo felt it worked better basted on the burger than it did as an additional sauce. Good luck in the contest!

Sweet and Sassy Turkey Sliders, These will be a perfect addition to your holiday parties They are sweet with a touch of heat The heat can be adjusted by either using or removing the seeds in the Serrano peppers or a combination The seeds and membrane is where the heat is located Both the patties and onions can be prepared ahead, warmed and assembled as your guests arrive , I thought this was a fab use of contest ingredients & loved many parts of the recipe I made 4 burgers instead of the small sliders, but stayed with the ingredients listed we really liked the combination of the hawaiian bread, the burgers, & the onions The burgers were moist & well seasoned & the onions stellar Less successful was the sauce It was very thick and although we liked the sweet/hot combo felt it worked better basted on the burger than it did as an additional sauce Good luck in the contest!, The burgers were great, the onions even better but the sauce was way too sweet Even-though I left the seeds in with the Serrano peppers (to get it real spicy), the blackberry jam was just too much Thanks for posting Made for Craze-E contest, Winter 2009/10
