    Yummy!! This was a wonderful (and easy) sloppy joe recipe! The only change we made was to use ground turkey and to leave out the green pepper. We also forgot to add the water, but we thought the consistency was perfect, so we probably won't add it next time either. Will make this recipe again and again!! Thanks, Kurt! ***Update... Made with ground pork since we have a family member with a beef intolerance). We couldn't tell the difference between the pork and ground beef. Yumm!! Our kiddos don't like green pepper, so we've been making it with only onion and the meat sauteed, and we never add water (and love the consistency that way). This recipe has been a winner for 12 years in our house!!
