Directions
Diabetic Beef Stew, This is posted in response to a request for a stew that was low in fat, low in high-glycemic carbohydrates, and high in fibre I think this fits the bill , Yummy stew, followed the recipe pretty much except I also added diced sweet potatoes and a sprig of fresh rosemary and thyme used beef both instead of water Highly reccomend perfect for a cold New England winter night , This looks like a delicious stew However the 41 carbs and 13 grams of sugar make this recipe unfit for diabetics Please keep this in mind for those with serious diabetic health or pregnancy issues Again, the ingredients look savory and delicious, just not something for people keeping tabs on their sugar intake
