I needed to substitute the French dressing with Dorothy Lynch's homestyle dressing. And while they are not exactly the same, they're more similar than different. Used the remaining ingredients and measurements as given. Served with a tray of yellow and red pepper strips, this was a very good complimenting dip. Only a personal preference, I would probably double the minced onion the next time I make this.
I can easily see this with a tsp or so of taco seasoning added and served with carrot and celery sticks for 'south of the border' fare.
