Disappearing Apple Cake,Every time I make this super-moist yummy cake it disappears in record time! The phrase that I usually hear when someone tries some for the first time is, “Oh my goodness, what is this stuff?!!” …as they reach for another piece!,I made this as written for a friend who needed some love. She asked for the recipe–so I know it was great. Mine looked pretty good, I thought. It smelled AMAZING!,This is exactly like the apple cake my grandma made and passed down to my mom and then to me (and I’m 62 y.o.!) It is not the most beautiful cake, and often when I would take one to work the first comments were “what is that? Is it….dessert?” Then once they tasted it, BOOM! It is the most requested cake I make. If you want a pretty, decorative cake, and don’t care what it tastes like, make something else. But if you want a delicious, moist, spicy cake that is homey and actually pretty healthy, go with this apple cake. Believe me, it will disappear!
