Dishwasher Salmon,Seasoned Cooking April 1999 Issue. A Fool’s Delight, by Philip R. Gantt. This is an actual recipe from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Cookbook. It is unusual and although I haven’t yet tried it, it seems like an innovative idea.,Although others mention how this is not green, I will say that out of fun and curiousity we tried it once. Yes, it is a lengthy process to cook a piece of fish but it is fun and a neat thing to show the kids. Sorry to those of you whe are upset from this little experiment. It was worth the try.,It’s an EXTREMELY “ungreen” method of preparing fish. Like another poster stated this recipe is very OLD. I think I first heard of this about 35-40 years ago on TV. Never tried it. “Unique” was the only word that ever came to mind for me regarding this “recipe”.
