Dried Fruit Compote, Sounds wonderful – I want to try it soon ! From Australian Taste magazine , Absolutely great combo of dried fruits (though I did use dried Fuji apple chunks rather than the usual dried apple slices)! I also was very generous with the orange & used just the zest rather than the whole rind, all for a cirtusy-dried-fruit wonderful treat! Thanks for sharing this great recipe! [Made & reviewed while on ZWT6], Oh my but the spice combination on this one is sublime used Lady Grey tea which has a bit more citrus and also replaced the pears with sour cherries At twelve hours i noticed the compote was a little dry so I added an additional 1/2 cup of hot tea to my half batch At the end of 24 hours — a full day — the results were perfect, fully plumped fruit and a thick, aromatic and seasoned syrup A lovely breakfast indulgence served over plain Greek yogurt
