Easier Stabilized Whipped Cream,This is much easier than the usual unflavored gelatin method. As for the leftover pudding mix, use it in smoothies, milk shakes, fruit salads, more whipped cream, etc. It never goes to waste! You can make your whipped topping ahead of time and it won’t separate or go runny! I find the pudding adds an extra richness to the flavor without being enough to know that it’s instant pudding. You could use any flavor of instant pudding to change up the usual whipped cream flavors.,Has anyone tried making this with sugar free pudding mix?,This is so perfect. use this to frost & fill so many cupcakes. However, I do not add any sugar or extract … sometimes I will add a touch of alcohol to compliment a Pina Colada Cupcake or some other …. I usually do add a little extra milk (1/4 c) to make the frosting not to thick and hard to pipe. I would add that use any and every instant pudding flavor …. but White Chocolate is the best when you want a pure white icing …. wish someone would have showed me this 30 years ago …
