Easy and Quick Homemade Chimichangas Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

I made them with shredded chicken instead of ground beef. Also took another reviewer's advice and topped with cheese for the last 3 minutes of baking. I served with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream on the side. They were delicious! I really like what happened with the tortilla, it was an excellent texture and held everything together beautifully. This will definitely go into my bag of tricks to make again! Thanks!

Streamlined Chimichangas, This is a great tasting recipe and so easy that even my daughter doesn’t complain when I ask her to make it., I made them with shredded chicken instead of ground beef. Also took another reviewer’s advice and topped with cheese for the last 3 minutes of baking. I served with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream on the side. They were delicious! I really like what happened with the tortilla, it was an excellent texture and held everything together beautifully. This will definitely go into my bag of tricks to make again! Thanks!, used this recipe as inspiration for my Cheeseburger Chimichanga recipe which was an instant hit at my house. All of your favorite burger toppings and ground beef spiked with mustard and ketchup are rolled into a flour tortilla and baked until crisp. These crispy Cheeseburger Chimichangas are then placed on a bed of shredded lettuce and cheese before being drizzled with mayonnaise. Your eyes will think Mexican food but the taste is all-American!
