Easy Cheese Straws, Yummy appetizer for a party!! These were a hit for a recent get-together we had with friends , Most similar to my Great Aunt Freda’s famous cheese straws! This has been a part of our family cookbook forever We use only 1 1/2 cups flour and use 1/2 tsp cayenne We extrude through a cookie press to create the straws and when they bake the edges get all crispy and yummy I halve the recipe and process all of the ingredients together, in two batches, in my food processor and never have a problem with the dough whatsoever! Very simple and easy Thanks for posting , great recipe Found the dough was too dry So I added a touch of water Easy and fast to prepare We served it with pumpkin soup as a side
