Steps

1
Done

Preheat Oven to 375. Coat a 2 to 3 Quart Baking Dish With Cooking Spray. I Did not Use Cooking Spray and Didn't Even Coat My Pan, and It Was Fine Although I Frequently Use My Butter Wrappers Instead.

2
Done

Heat Olive Oil in a Pan Over Medium High Heat. Add the Beef and Cook For 4 to 5 Minutes or Until Just Browned, Breaking Up the Meat With a Spatula.

3
Done

Add the Onion and Cook For an Additional 3 to 4 Minutes or Until Onion Is Translucent.

4
Done

Stir in the Taco Seasoning and Red Salsa. Simmer For 3 to 4 Minutes.

5
Done

Remove the Pan from the Heat and Stir in the Sour Cream.

6
Done

Lightly Crush the Doritos. Spread 1/3 of the Chips Over the Bottom of the Prepared Pan.

7
Done

Place 1/2 of the Meat Mixture on Top of the Chips, Then Add 1/3 of the Cheese in an Even Layer.

8
Done

Repeat the Process With Another 1/3 of the Chips, the Rest of the Meat, and 1/3 of the Cheese.

9
Done

Add the Remaining Chips, Then the Final Layer of Cheese. Cover the Baking Dish With Foil. I Skipped the Foil, and It Turned Out Fine.

10
Done

Bake For 30 Minutes. Uncover and Bake For an Additional 10 to 15 Minutes or Until Cheese Is Melted and Starting to Brown.

11
Done

Sprinkle the Tomatoes and Green Onions Over the Casserole, Then Serve.

12
Done

Top With Additional Taco Flavorings Such as Sour Cream, Olives, Etc.
