Easy Cube Steak, I love to experiment with different ways to cook meat. This is the best way I found to make cube steak. Plus it is quick easy and inexpensive., Fresh onions instead of dried, minced which tend to burn easily when frying in butter, I really love this recipe! I usually cook expensive cuts, like New York or Rib Eye, but I remember cube steak from my youth. I followed the recipe, but used fresh onion instead of dried. I removed the meat, covered it with a pan lid, then added a splash of wine to deglaze, then one more bit of butter to emulsify. Then I poured this over the cooked cube steak, and it was DELICIOUS. Yes, it’s tough, but really good. Thanks for the inspiration.
