    Weekday Coffee Cake Muffins, this does not sound like no coffee cake or maybe im just dumb but there is no actual coffee in it , Excellent and easy I added the 1 t vanilla, and 1/2 t almond I added pecans to six and made six without for the people that didn’t like nuts I took them to church and they were a huge hit

    Steps

    Sift 1 1/2c Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder and Salt Into Mixing Bowl.

    Cut in Shortening Till Mixture Resembles Coarse Crumbs.

    Mix Egg and Milk.

    Add All at Once to Flour Mixture.

    Stir Just Until Moistened.

    Combine Brown Sugar, Nuts, 1 T.

    Place Half of the Batter in Greased or Paper Lined Muffin Pans.
