Fabulous! And dangerous! Way too easy to forget this has liquor in it :) I bought fruit cocktail then realized I didn't have Amaretto so used whiskey. used the smoothie setting on my blender and it came out smooth and creamy. Will definitely try this again with other fruits and liquors. Thanks for sharing Gailann!

Easy Slush or Sorbet (For Adults), A lightly sweet slush You’ll never to be without canned fruit again See Variations below Prep time doesn’t include freeze time Not for children , Fabulous! And dangerous! Way too easy to forget this has liquor in it 🙂 I bought fruit cocktail then realized I didn’t have Amaretto so used whiskey used the smoothie setting on my blender and it came out smooth and creamy Will definitely try this again with other fruits and liquors Thanks for sharing Gailann!, First of, let me say, there is no need to freeze the fruit in the can Simply pour it into a ziploc bag, let out the air and lay flat to freeze That way when you are ready to use the fruit you can literally break it up with your hands I made the pineapple version, using Malibu rum & cream of coconut I omitted the lemon juice & just doubled up on the rum-lol! It was very refreshing I think the next time I make this, I am going to try using frozen cream of coconut to see if I can get a creamier texture I can’t wait to try other fruit-liquor combos This is a nice treat! Made for Everyday is a Holiday Tag-Dec’09 A definite make again!
