Easy Vegetarian Lentil Chili,A great throw-together lowfat meal. (2 WW points). Freezes well for make-ahead lunches. Sometimes I add garbanzo beans. This is from the Secrets of Lowfat Cooking cookbook, a great resource.,I added about 2 cups of trimmed tri-tip meat to this. DH thought he’d like it beter w/ two 14.t ozcans of petit cut tomatoes and only 8 oz. of tomato sauce. Otherwise, used all the stated ingredients, but I sauted the onlion, bell pepper and garlic before adding the rest. We liked it very much, overall. It’s interesting to me that DH says he doesn’ like lentils, but so far all the lentil things I’ve mae from Food.com recipes….he likes just fine.,This came out really well and was very easy to make.

Combine Everything (except Tomato Sauce and Corn) in 2 1/2 Quart Pot and Boil Over High Heat. |
