Egyptian Onion Pita Bread, After trying & studying several recipes for Egyptian breads I developed this version which is a combination of a few key elements of all the recipes, plus my spin as well We thought these breads were a little dense for our taste so I don’t think I’m done tweaking it quite yet If you try it and have any suggestions please feel free to note them in your review :), used bread flour and 2 1/2 t yeast I also punched the dough down after an hour and let it rise a second time It came out great!, Instead of making this into pitas I threw everything into my bread machine & made regular bread I only used 1 tbsp of sugar & 1 tbsp of sesame seeds the bread turned out light & airy not dense at all Made for ZWT6 – No-Nonsense Nibblers
