Fabulous Beef Stew,My family thinks this is fabulous, and that is all that matters. Made in the slow cooker.,Definitely some of the best and easiest beef stew I’ve ever had. A couple of changes due to necessity: 1) No bouillon granules so used beef broth 2) Ingredients wouldn’t fit in my smallish slow cooker so used my cast iron dutch oven. In the oven on 300 degrees for about an hour, lowered heat to 200 degrees and cooked for about 4.5 hours. Then I warmed up some crusty french bread…yum! Will definitely be making again and again. And PS: I don’t mind using the oven in the cooler months – just helps to heat the house.,Absolutely delicious and satisfying comfort food. No changes recommended, just eat up and let it warm you from the inside out. Lovely served with biscuits and jam.
