Fast and Fabulous Fake out Calzones, All the calzone taste without all of the work! Watching Rachael Ray make her version inspired me to share mine with you! PLEASE use whatever toppings you like The more add ins the better this is! Like RR says- this is more a method than a recipe! Play with your food and make this with the things you like to eat!, Well, this did not work out so well In 15 min the cheese still was not melted so I left it in 10 min longer The cheese still not melted but the bun was getting very toasted and dry In the end it tasted like bread and cheese and was very crumbly and messy to eat My husband will eat anything and never complains and was very unhappy with this This might be better with a smaller bun because the cheese might have melted faster My son threw is out in disgust and remade it by cutting the bun in half putting ingredients in the oven on high Everyone agreed that worked out much better , Fantastic Mama!!!!! The only change I did was to add some marinara sauce to the ricotta cheese I also served them with more sauce for dipping I love the crunchiness of the rolls (used french bread rolls) and the cheesiness of the filling!!!! YUMMO!!!!

Note: Feel Free to Add Some Veggies Here. You Could Leave the Meat Out If You Like and Just Use Veggies! Think of the Toppings or Calzone Fillings You Would Normally Eat and Use Those. Mushrooms Work Great Here as Well as Spinach, Green Peppers, Onions, Etc. Just Remember That All the Ingredients Have to Get Hot So Do not Pile So Much on That the Bread Gets Done Before the Stuffing. ). |
