Finger Lickin Chicken Gizzards

Features:
    Cuisine:

I live alone, so it is hard not to over indulge.....So, I do! These gizzards and hearts (which I added to the gizzards) were far too good to not make a staple in my monthly menu! I did change a couple of things, but the basis for this wonderful meal is credited to Mrs. Bettiga. used vinaigrette in place of white wine and added chutney and a small bit of smoke which turned out to be excellence additions to my taste buds. Thanks, once again.

Finger Lickin Chicken Gizzards, These gizzards will melt in your mouth! You are in for a big treat!, I live alone, so it is hard not to over indulge So, I do! These gizzards and hearts (which I added to the gizzards) were far too good to not make a staple in my monthly menu! I did change a couple of things, but the basis for this wonderful meal is credited to Mrs Bettiga used vinaigrette in place of white wine and added chutney and a small bit of smoke which turned out to be excellence additions to my taste buds Thanks, once again , I’m gonna agree with some of the other reviewers here, the Italian dressing was way too overpowering and would probably be better with at at most 12 Oz, but preferably less and substitute the missing dressing with chicken broth Some heat did still filter through at least, but I’d also substituted Tabasco for the pick-a-pepper, not that I could tell flavor wise The gizzards still tasted okay though if I patted off the sauce with a paper towel
