Firehouse Chili, This is an excellent chili recipe My husband is a chili lover and requests this about once a week in the Winter It’s a little on the hot/spicy side but you can adjust the amount of seasonings if you want it milder I like to serve this with cornbread muffins and/or crackers (Estimated prep time Although it calls for cooking the chili 2 hours you can cook it on low for several hours) , Chili was easy to make I followed the recipe for the most part the only thing I added was Eckrich lil smoke sausages This gave it an after taste that isn’t bad but tends to linger I served this to my son he said It’s definitely better than wolf brand chili a 9 out of 10 My wife tried it and she said it wasn’t bad and she is a very picky eater My brother in-law and sister in-law also tried it and both said that other than the sausages I added it came out good My brother in-law also rated a 7 out of 10 I plan on making more in the future but with different tweeks Also I have never made chili and this was my first attempt ever Thanks for recipe It will definitely be the base of my chili for years to come , Meh Taste like Canned Hormel Chile
