Four Cheese Egg Casserole,I got this recipe from a bed and breakfast. It is very rich, moist and custardy and is very versatile. I added fresh basil but any herb could be used. Chopped ham would also be good in this casserole.,Omit the basil. Maybe add a dash of Red Hot sauce. If you guests/family like something more hearty, some meat might be good.,Hi, Thanks for this amazing versatile recipe. Just made it and it was decadent and tasted heavenly . I substituted a few of the ingredients for a unique flavor. used aged goats cheese and pecorino cheese instead of jack and cheddar and used half semolina flour. I threw in some sour cream, fresh rosemary, thyme and lots of ground pepper. On top I sprinkled black sesame. Wow!!
